Michele has thirty-five years of clinical experience as a developmental and neurological specialist, having worked in hospitals for seventeen years before opening her clinic on Bainbridge Island. Michele provides evaluation, consultation, therapy, family training and social skill groups. She is also available for giving talks to medical, educational, community and parent groups on communication and/or development.
Michele has Level II PROMPT certification and is trained in Hanen, LSVT, SCERTS, DIR and dysphagia. She has over twenty-five years of experience leading small groups.
Michele works with autism, social communication disorders, aphasia, apraxia, developmental disorders, voice disorders, motor speech disorders, tongue thrust, language disorders and cognitive and attention issues. Family training and a home program is an important part of her treatment program. Michele believes joy is an important indicator of success in communication.
